Built, not borrowed

5 new category pages built from scratch + 1 existing page aligned into a single on-page framework: structure, copy, FAQs, schema and internal links.

2

Zero → ranking

14 DJI keywords that were N/A now rank #1; 4 keywords at #1 and 21 in the Top 10. Pages that started at zero now drive thousands of clicks each.

3

Resilient & compounding

89-97% monthly KPI delivery held through two Google core updates and a spam refresh. Clicks are forecast to cross 1M/month by 2026.

The Challenge

Nearly invisible in the categories that matter

Before the engagement, DJI's and Amflow's highest-intent U.S. category terms were unranked or buried.

Where we started

  1. No category pages

DJI competed on product pages alone. High-volume terms like camera gimbal, action camera and power station had no dedicated page to rank.

  2. Ranked N/A or deep

iphone gimbal sat at #93, action camera #90, video stabilizers #75. Effectively invisible to buyers.

  3. Competitors owned the shelf

Insta360, Rode, EcoFlow and Zhiyun held the Top-3 across DJI's core categories; Amflow trailed Specialized, Canyon and Aventon in e-MTB.

The Approach

One category-page framework, applied end to end

Every page shipped with the same on-page system, then reinforced with off-page authority.

  1. 01

    Build the pages

5 new category pages built from scratch + 1 existing page aligned, giving each product family a dedicated ranking home.

  2. 02

    Standardise on-page

Consistent structure, conversion copy, FAQs, structured-data schema and internal links across every page.

  3. 03

    Earn authority

Guest posts and contextual backlinks to accelerate trust and push new pages into competitive SERPs fast.

  4. 04

    Measure relentlessly

89-97% monthly KPI completion, tracked category-by-category and audited against every Google update.

6 category pages now anchor the U.S. footprint

  • Phone Gimbal
  • Camera Gimbal
  • Action Camera
  • Wireless Mic
  • Power Station
  • Vlogging

Plus 5 new Amflow-aligned category & collection touchpoints (e-MTB, PL Carbon, homepage) rebuilt on the same framework.

Protect & Grow

Lock in the wins, then extend the lead

New rankings are fresh and defensible only with maintenance. Here's the 12-month plan.

0

Why maintenance matters

keywords at high risk of slipping without active upkeep. 11 keywords now sit in the Top 3, and the top three terms alone drive ~90% of these pages' search volume. Protecting them is priority one.

  1. 1

    Stabilise & protect M1-3

Refresh volatile pages, keep internal links flowing to top performers, add FAQs & freshness signals.

  2. 2

    Category depth M2-10

Sub-category pages (iPhone gimbal, camera mic, camping power) + cluster blogs to deepen authority.

  3. 3

    Convert, not just rank M3-12

Comparison modules, 'best-for' blocks, bundles and Pros/Cons schema to turn rankings into revenue.

  4. 4

    Dominate AI search M4-12

Short-answer snippets, structured FAQ schema and monthly AI/Perplexity visibility tracking.

  5. 5

    Displace competitors M2-12

Outrank Zhiyun, Rode, GoPro & EcoFlow on the #4-15 terms DJI is closest to taking.

The Takeaway

Category pages built right compound into a durable organic asset.

Proven

DJI clicks +25% and impressions +87%; Amflow clicks +65% and impressions +260%, measured over identical, apples-to-apples windows.

Structural

Six DJI category pages and a rebuilt Amflow footprint turned N/A rankings into 4 #1s, 21 Top-10s and Top-3 category dominance.

Durable

~93% KPI delivery held through two core updates; the trend line points past 1M clicks/month with ~274K of untapped upside remaining.

Let's unlock the next 274K clicks.
